Luigi Mangione arrested in connection to killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO

Associated Press reports police have arrested a 26-year-old man suspected in the killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. “[Luigi] Mangione, 26, was born and raised in Maryland, has ties to San Francisco, and his last known address in Honolulu, Hawaii, Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said at a news briefing.”

Pauleen Le at WCCO News reports UCare employees are working from home this week after the insurance provider received a “concerning” phone call late on Friday. Out of an abundance of caution, UCare decided to close its offices for a week.
