Minnesota AG sues former superintendent over hedge fund scandal

Via Bring Me the News: “Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against the former superintendent of a St. Paul charter school who lost the school $4.3 million after illegally investing in a hedge fund in 2019.”

KARE reports Maple Grove police have detailed bomb threats and suspicious activity threats against the late UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. “On Thursday afternoon, Maple Grove police provided KARE 11 with several “call-for-service” summaries, revealing bomb and suspicious activity threats, at least one of them dating back to 2018.”

MPR reports the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office has resumed DNA testing at its crime lab following a reported contamination earlier this fall.
